How do I create flashcards?

Chat with the Kartela GPT in ChatGPT and describe what you want to learn. It drafts cards for you, which show up as a pending review banner on your Kartela home screen — review, edit, and approve them before they join your deck. You can also add cards manually from a deck's "Add cards" screen.

Why do I have to review AI-drafted cards before I can study them?

Kartela never puts an AI-generated card in front of you during study until you've approved it. This catches wrong dates, mixed-up nuance, or trap-detail mistakes before they become something you accidentally memorize.

What happens if I miss a few days?

Your progress stays saved. When you return, review the cards that are due or browse your deck at your own pace.

How does spaced repetition scheduling work?

Each card uses an SM-2-style algorithm: rating a card Again/Hard/Good/Easy adjusts its ease factor and schedules the next review accordingly. Decks can also be set to "fast review", which shows every card every session with no scheduling.

Can I use Kartela on both the app and the web?

Yes — both talk to the same account and the same decks, so progress stays in sync.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings → Account → Delete account. This permanently removes your decks, cards, streak history, and sign-in — it cannot be undone.
